Domaine Boyar was the first private wine company founded after the fall of the communist regime in Bulgaria. They probably have one of the most modern and best equipped EU wineries in the region. Launched in Sofia and London, they managed to navigate successfully through the period of economic transition and establish itself as one of the biggest and most trusted producers and exporters of Bulgarian wines to Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Domaine Boyar and Blueridge are the only Bulgarian wine brands to enter the prestigious British wine rank list Top 50 of AC Nielsen.

We travel the world looking for top quality, affordable wines from vineyards that do not use harmful pesticides and fertilisers – only for a call from the Bulgarian Ambassador, followed by a visit from the team from Boyar, we’d still be unaware of the value and quality we have found in wines from Boyar.
