Quick Overview

Monks first planted vine in Clos de Vougeot in the 12th century. Nowadays protected by a wall of stones, Clos de Vougeot is the largest grand cru vineyard in Burgundy, owned by over 80 growers! A beautifully perfumed nose of hedgerow fruit, raspberry and cherry. Remarkably dense palate with distinctive red berry and stewed fruit character; undertones of caramel, earth and cinnamon add complexity while supporting finely grained tannin and vivid acidity give poise and elegance.
