Delivery
Delivery Time
We endeavour to deliver your wines within two working days of receipt of your order, however due to unforeseen circumstances some deliveries can take longer. In the event of your delivery not being dispatched within 4 days we will contact you directly to organize an alternative product or delivery date. If a product is out of stock we will contact you to offer a solution. Deliveries to the UK are collected within two working days of the order being placed and are usually delivered within five working days of the order.
Minimum Order
The minimum order is six products which can be mixed. All orders placed must be in multiples of six products (6, 12, 18, 24, 30 etc). We ask this as bottles in boxes which are not full hold a high chance of being damaged.
Delivery Addresses
Currently, we only deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland and UK. Our carrier will be instructed to deliver to the address provided at the time of ordering. If there is no-one present, they will leave a note to arrange an alternative delivery time/address.
Delivery Charge
Delivery in mainland Ireland is nationwide and is free for all orders of twelve bottles or more. Orders containing six bottles will be charged for €5 delivery. Delivery to the UK is €35 per case of 12, with incremental increases per 6 bottles ordered thereafter. Deliveries to the UK are made using UKMAIL - any additional excise duty charges that can be levied in the UK are payable by the customer if requested by HM Revenue & Customs.
Carriage and Responsibility
It is essential that you check and verify the contents of your package for missing or damaged items and express any reservations you may have before signing the POD (proof of delivery) docket. As we cannot verify any problems beyond the delivery, we will not accept any claims of damaged goods or missing items after the POD docket has been signed by the recipient. If you have received a faulty or damaged order, please follow the procedure outlined below in the Receipt of Damaged Goods / Missing Items sub-section.
Proof of Delivery
The recipient will be asked to sign for the wine upon delivery on a POD docket. The signed POD is an agreement by the recipient that all goods received are as ordered and complete. Tindal Wine Merchants/Straffan Wines will not be liable for any damaged stock or missing items claims beyond this stage.
Privacy & Security
Privacy
As a valued member your personal security is paramount to us. In accordance with the Data Protection Act, your personal details are secure and in no case are available to third parties. Your credit card details are protected by the latest in secure technology and again, are in no case available to third parties. The information that is gathered is as little as possible in order to make the system work. Your given address, name and contact details are needed to both confirm your credit card details and arrange delivery. Your email address is required for confirmation of order, delivery and newsletters. Any further personal information that you provide is entirely at your discretion. Security
Any transactions on our website are secured by 128bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to provide you with a safe, trustworthy system. There are two details to look for when trying to identify a SSL-encrypted webpage:

Straffan Wines also employ ‘cookies’ to facilitate the ordering process. These cookies store anonymous information about your computer and ‘expire’ after a set time. It is essential that the option to receive ‘cookies’ is switched on in order for you to complete your order.
Returns
Receipt of Damaged Goods / Missing Items
If you for some reason receive damaged goods, please follow this procedure:
1. When signing for the goods on the POD docket, outline the fault or missing item(s).
2. Send an email to info@tindalwine.com containing the following details:
Receipt of the Wrong Order
If you receive the wrong order, please do not accept the package from the courier. Contact us as outlined above in the Receipt of Damaged Goods / Missing Items section, and we will arrange to have your package dispatched again within 48 hours.
Returns and Refunds
If you are not happy with the wine that you have purchased, you may contact us within 10 days of your purchase date to return it for a full refund. All bottles returned must have their capsules (seals) fully intact. We will refund your credit card – less any applicable delivery charge – within one week of return of the goods. The return delivery cost is to be covered by the customer.
