WSET Level 3 Award in Wines
An advanced level qualification for professionals working in the wine industry and for wine enthusiasts.
For individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

This qualification has a minimum requirement of 84 hours of study time, including 30 hours of classroom or online delivery time with a WSET course provider.
It is recommended that you hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge.

Unit 1 is assessed by a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions and a paper of short written answers. Unit 2 is assessed by a blind tasting of two wines.
Course cost – €750.00
Inclusive of wines, study pack and the final exam.

It is however recommended to book and receive the study pack at least 6 weeks before the course starts to enable you to familiarise yourself with the content.
In the event of a place not being available you will be contacted by phone and your payment refunded. 2. Cancellations made 14 days or before the commencement of a course will incur and administration charge of €50.00. 3. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course will incur a cancellation fee of 50%. 4. No refunds can be given after the commencement of a course. 5. Examinations must take place on the scheduled date. 8. Once booking is confirmed any transfer to another course or to another applicant will only be accepted on payment of an administration fee of €30.00.9.
